Established in 2000 in the US and India, with a 25,000 sq. ft. headquarters and manufacturing facility in Mumbai, Milaaya has collaborated with luxury and contemporary fashion and lifestyle houses across Europe, the US, UK, and Australia.

     

    Celebrating 25 years of Milaaya Embroideries, the brand has built a global presence with collaborations spanning over 150 luxury and contemporary fashion houses. Today, Milaaya is powered by over 400 skilled artisans and an extensive archive of more than 60,000 swatches, reflecting the scale and legacy of its craftsmanship.

    Founder & Managing Director — Milaaya Group of Companies
    Gayatri Khanna is a visionary leader with a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurial Studies and Marketing from Babson College, Massachusetts. Her journey into the world of fashion began in New York, where she honed her skills working with renowned garment companies and later as a buyer for designer wear at Saks Fifth Avenue.
     
    Fuelled by her passion and industry experience, Gayatri established Milaaya Embroideries and later expanded the brand’s creative vision across Milaaya Interiors and Milaaya Art Gallery. Her hands-on approach spans creative direction, ethical manufacturing, and innovation, ensuring that every project reflects meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
     
    Beyond business, Gayatri actively supports initiatives that empower artisans and nurture traditional embroidery techniques, reflecting her commitment to creativity, community, and the Milaaya ethos.
